That's about what I paid for mine about 25 years ago. In today's market, that's a bargain.

 :o And I just sold a Spector 2 days ago. Agrh... must... resist. I loved my black '73 but didn't play it enough to keep.  :-\

All for the better. You probably wouldn't have kept this one either.

Mine sounded good but not good enough to keep, and I could never get used to the way it hung on the strap.

Yeah, these days I just throw a set of flats on one of my Rics when I want that sound. Kinda blows away the Guild anyway IMO.  8)
