I can't remember if Uwe owns an EB2-C.
But this one looks very clean! Go for it Uwe (if you don't have one yet)

Now that's what I call a "Double Bass"!
The 34" scale must be an oversight......
Did they really come with two muddies?

Nope. It even says so in the description, that the pickup was added by the previous owner.
Clean work, though and a pretty bass. I like it.
If the bridge pickup was added, rather than replacing the mini humbucker, then it's really a modified EB-2, not an EB-2C. Even so, the price isn't out of line for a retailer. Maybe a little high but not by much.
The scale length is obviously an error.
The "C" was a designation for cherry color. EB-2D or EB-2DC were the two pickup versions.

D'oh! I should have known that!
Same here. I thought it was maybe a type indication for the two mudbuckers.
Should have paid more attention to the description.
Sorry for all the confusion.

All that and not to collect for fins!
Alas! ... :-\

I had a '68 EB2 in Sparkling Burgundy and the label said EB2C.
My Shipping Totals Book list an EB-2N (Natural) & an EB-2W (Walnut). I think I've actually seen a label in the past with EB-2N.
It's funny that they would designate Sparkling Burgundy the same way they did Cherry.
