A Message from Reverb's CEO (https://reverb.com/news/reverb-to-be-acquired-by-etsy)
It will be a smashing success or more likely a bargain in 36 months.
"For hints as to what might come at Reverb, take a look at Silverman's changes to Etsy: he has raised fees, pushed free shipping, and moved to an auto-renew listing model (which goes into effect on Thursday)."
What a surprise, higher fees.

Etsy was at 3.5%, like Reverb. He just raised it to 5%.
I won't be surprised he raises Reverb fees to 5%, but since eBay reduced final value fees to 3.5% on musical instruments, he might just leave it as-is for now.

Sounds like they are trying to make it as shit as Ebay, from a seller's perspective.

April Winchell (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0934589/) had a website for several years called Regretsy, featuring what she thought were ridiculous Etsy listings, whch she called "craftcidents." She got tired of it and took it down 5 or 6 years ago, but you can still find some remnants of what she had posted. For example, 17 Craft Disasters from Regretsy.com (https://www.goodhousekeeping.com/home/craft-ideas/how-to/g2191/craft-disasters-regretsy/)
