Wasn't someone here looking for one?

These were $1229 in 2011, this one's $1125 shipped with a Supertone, maybe a little high, but there's a Make Offer button and these don't come up that often.
Nice looking bass...
I always thought (applies to the guitars too) that they ruined the shape with the curvature in the cutaways. I get that they did that for structural stability and ease of manufacture, but that shape is iconic and the straight line perpendicularly bisecting the neck is an essential and instantly recognizable part of it.
Also they made it long scale so the GAS be weaker still for me.
It actually is shortscale so I just upped the GAS for you Jake. ;D
I agree with Jake about the curvature. But it is short scale. Come on, you know you want it, Jake. Just pop in a Model One like Scott Whitley did.

Omg you guys couldn t just lemme go on believing it, eh. No use though, the shape thing kills it for me. I'd get Rob to build me one before I'd consider one of these.
There, I fixed it for you Jake.

:toast:
Nice, Rob. Now if Gibson had made it that way, I'll bet it would have sold much better.
It's an easy fix if the neck joint shape really bugs you.
Nice looking bass, bu the only thing I've seen that is more plain-looking is an original Precision slab bass.

Pssssst Jake.... http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=11230.msg191898#new
Well thanks for the tip off, but I am not holding my breath because a) with 4.5 basses already another one is litterally at the bottom of my acquisitions list and b) if they do that 3/4 pickguard like they did with the guitars that also kinda kills the vibe.
I'm due for a midlife crisis; talk to ya about something custom when that happens cuz I ain't into cars (thank God, because I do not have the budget for anything like a a nice sportscar). I can wait.

Hrrmm, that often leads to something irrational, so in your case I'm thinking something like this:
