Title: Has anyone ever moved backwards the sliding pickup on a Grabber?

I was thinking something like this. Additional routing and custom made pickguard.

That wouldn't work, because the black base plate that covers the gap would travel further than the edge of the pickguard. It would end up somewhere under the bridge.

You can always mount the pickup directly to a custom made pickguard, if more treble is your wish.

I think a modified base plate with two sections might solve that if done cleverly.
