Gibson Guitar Could Emerge from Bankruptcy In Just a Few Weeks (https://www.digitalmusicnews.com/2018/09/10/gibson-guitar-bankruptcy-ending/)

"Specifically, Juszkiewicz would embark on a permanent leave..."

In the article:

"There's another key player here: David Berryman, who was also one of the principal pre-bankruptcy owners.  In the new plan, Berryman and Juszkiewicz would collectively own less than 3.5% of the company.  Juszkiewicz, in turn, would have no role in the company unless the company specifically called upon him."

Don't call us, we'll call you. :bored:

It was only a matter of time, wasn't it? Hard to imagine any way Henry could have come out of this with an active role in the company.

I wonder how long it takes for the impact of new management to be seen in the market, for better or worse. Maybe the 2020 catalog?

Could you put in a good word for me?

Considering how much Gibson product you own, they're bound to pay attention!  ;)

Did somebody say 20/20? Just in time for the 2020 20/20 reissue..........................

I just opened the link to Dave's Guitar shop to see what was new, I was surprised to see that he is carrying Gibson again for the third time? being in the middle of bankruptcy, this is rather odd. Dave must expect a good outcome..........

Interesting but not really surprising considering that Henry's changing whims had a lot to do with Dave's dropping them, twice.

The latest:

Gibson finds post-Chapter 11 CFO (https://www.nashvillepost.com/business/manufacturing/article/21024382/gibson-finds-postchapter-11-cfo)

Gibson and Tronical settle, judge approves (https://www.reuters.com/article/bankruptcy-gibson/bankrupt-gibson-and-supplier-in-tune-with-4-6-mln-claims-settlement-idUSL2N1WE25U). Tronical was or is the manufacturer of the MinETune/GForce tuners.

I've been going on about the 20/20 2020 for a while now.  I honestly doubt that many staffers with influence at Gibson probably even know about the 20/20.  Maybe someone should put a call into Bach.

I didn't see any inventory listed there yet. Last spring when I was there the Gibsons were all on a partial wall of a room that was overwhelmingly filled with Gibsons previously. Now the few that are left are split up between three locations..................

Gibson hasn't yet changed its policy of limiting who can list their inventories online. That's according to the manager at TwinTown. I hope that will change when new management is in place.

IIRC Rob said that Bach got a C&D letter from Gibson so I doubt they'll be copying any more Gibson designs.
