Title: Not a very Metal way to die
Post by: Dave W on June 05, 2018, 05:34:42 PM
Darwin Award finalist (http://www.metalinjection.net/this-is-just-a-tribute/anal-cnt-guitarist-josh-martin-dies-after-falling-off-an-escalator)

According to an AP article he was "fooling around" and riding the escalator rail  (http://boston.cbslocal.com/2018/05/29/providence-place-mall-rhode-island-man-dies-after-falling-off-escalator/)

Hmmm......

Guitarist Josh Martin was still able to make headlines late last year, when he heckled Gene Simmons so hard that Gene actually left the stage to try to find him and fight him.

"a woman died from falling off the same escalator in 2004 and that a man was injured falling off the escalator in 2009"

What's up (or down...) with this escalator??

Word has it that Gene is watching the forums for hecklers as well - be careful on those escalators, all.

That video is hilarious in its own way, including the councilman/announcer mentioning Gene's "long and industrial career."  ;D  If there had been an actual confrontation, I wonder which one would have shit has pants first.

Gene's stage character has gone to his head. I've heard stories of him running in fear from little ol' Peter Criss!

That wouldn't surprise me. OTOH a 45 y.o. man who manages to fall to his death after clowning around on an escalator rail might not have been very frightening.

After watching his TV series and seeing in his red onesies, he lost any metal he had

Seems like a lot of metal is falling and dying.
