Sunburst CMT RD Artist (https://reverb.com/item/7344263-gibson-rd-artist-cmt-bass-1981-sunburst)
Not mine... sure wish it was... TRC is wrong...? Never seen one in the flesh and Uwe is the only one of us I know who has one... well out of my range but looks drop-dead gorgeous...

The RD Artist has always had a sleek, exceptional look, IMO.
That price has got to be high- even for a mint CMT (that's what the make an offer button is for I suppose - I actually think that's a better way to do it than ebay). She is a beaut tho.
Looks more tobacco burst than sunburst to me. Which makes it even more desireable.
If one were collecting for fins ...
Self control, Lad... self control... :o

Buy that one and sell the other! Problem solved. ;)
MMM Tasty....
Beautiful. If I had the money I would buy it
I'll rather buy the new one! I'm not the greatest fan of the sound of the pups and the electronics (bit sterile) and generally prefer the sound of the RD Standard (old or new). The one-of-a-kind WAL electronics excepted, active basses and me won't come together anymore in this lifetime. :-\
The pups in the Artist, run without the Moog, are probably my fave sound... just the neck position... intent to fit the second one I have (last housed in the PC, in the 76 TB casing) in my fretless Jazz...
That CMT is just so gorgeous... same boat as Rob here...
