I like the idea (not so much the price - yeowzers). The body shape of the bass is not to my liking but I do like the shape of their single cut guitars, especially the offset one:

I like them.
Got a bit of a Jetsons vibe, no?
I would like to see the second as a bass yes!
"MB4 sound is aiming tones of the 90's noise, such as Shellac and Jesus lizard, etc."
No thanks.

Maybe a bit of a Vox "Paddle bass" vibe....

Given the US' penchant for archaic measuring systems, this brand certainly won't sell there. "Maxi-Inch Instruments" would likely do better.
They'd have to change their logo if they do that 8)

That bass looks like a combination Longhorn/Horseshoe Crab. Not that I entirely dislike it but for $2700, I don't know.
I was thinking longhorn 20/20.

Yeah, I thought that was a poor marketting choice, to narrow it in like that; very niche.
but if you listen to those bands, the bass tone is good and applicable to other genres.
I've been following them on Instagram for quite a while, and I really like what they are doing.
I like the guitar more than the bass but it looks like Brad's Chromasonic

That's about as similar as it gets sans dowel rod.

Haha, more for me then Dave.
I like these instruments too but I agree about the price being tough to swallow.

That look just plain stupid with that "antenna".
There's a guy on Talkbass who did that with a Thunderbird. When I wrote that I didn't like the looks of it, he felt
very insulted
A previous owner of my Alembic added a brass strap pin extension. It was gone when I bought it, with no trace of it ever having been there thankfully. Funny thing is, the bass hangs pretty good as-is. A wide, suede-backed strap and it's all good.

They are nice wall ornaments for an office or your modern loft?
Not the alenbic.
