I thought there was a thread about photo hosting sites but can't find it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good site?
Thanks!
Denis
I like this one:

Maybe you're thinking about my Photobucket alert thread: http://bassoutpost.com/index.php?topic=10667.0
imgur is still working fine for me.

I use imgur, no issues yet! I upload photos to albums on there which I set to private. I then right click on each image and hit 'open in new tab'. I can then copy the URL in the browser into the image upload thingy here and on other forums.
For example, here is my photo of the storage yard at the air museum in Malta:

Name those cockpits!
They've got a whole one here, and in one piece... (http://www.newarkairmuseum.org/)
Also had a four page article I placed in 230 Squadron's latest newsletter about this very airframe and how they had to ground them all for a while in the 50's by the person who discovered the reason...

In your own albums, you should just be able to click on the image and then look for the Linked BB URL in the right panel, copy and paste directly into your post.
Well, that's some bullshit. The first image I uploaded to Imgur just shows up as a question mark in a blue box.

I just drag (from my hard drive) and drop to upload to my Images page on Imgur. It's worked every time.
Yeah, worked the following times. Probably a connection problem at home. We've had some issues lately.
The great photobucket hostage situation.
Never again
I'm favoring uploading - but it's a pain to downsize images first and I often don't have my whole photo library accessible. In that case I do a quick Google search and link to a similar image.

You don't have to manually downsize. e.g. this one is larger than what the software is set to, it's done automatically.
Hmm. I could swear it has refused to upload files based on size. I'll try later.
Put some stuff up on a seaplane site using Imgur without too much hassle...
