My long time friend AD Zimmer is the bassist for the Lou Gramm band. They were in a bit of a bind for a show and AD asked me to fill in late last week. I am really excited and have been working my tail off. We drive up to Canada on Friday for show number 1, AD does that one, then me and the band fly up to Sascatuwan for the gig on Monday. Full report to follow!
Was that a sic or did you mean Saskatchewan the province? I know that sometimes you Yanks have City names that are close to our province names (Ontario, California). If the prov, you're into the great White North now, bud.
Where's that first show?
Super cool, have fun!
First gig is Bellville ON 7/23, the second is Regina SK 7/25
Wow! How cool Scott! Have an awesome time and knock it out of the park!
Bellville - that's a bit random. Not far from here.
Have fun in Regina.
... I wanna know what bass is, I want you to shooooooooow meeeeeeeeee.

Or the gig felt.
Good Grief...! Last saw him with some band or other in '77, iirc
Enjoy...!
Congratulations! Break a leg! Exciting!
I love that you got this opportunity, Scott. Go out there and rock it!
Heading out today! I had five days to learn the set, I am feeling pretty good about it. You guys can follow my adventure on fb and instagram dassonscott. Get this the sax and rythem guitarists is Scott Gillman. He was the singer in my cousin Brock Avery's band New Man . They were out if Boston in the 80's and signed to Arista records. I was in Boston at Brock's insistence and wound up in EXPOSE who were about to be signed. I haven't seen Scott in 30 years lol should be a cool reunion!

Awesome. Nice work Scott.
cool
Way to go!
If anyone was reviewing my performance they probably wouldn't be to kind, fortunately most of the attention is on Lou and the guitar player. I got them through the show and that's all that matters. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do it again!
Had to be a really fun gig! Congrats.
Respect to all concerned.
