Yep, he used that too at the gig that Uwe and I visited in Utrecht (Netherlands)
Except for one (slow) song. Can't remeber which one that was.

Michael turned out to be a great singer.

+1 on his vocals. He saved Coverdale's butt on more than one occasion.
