He already has a Mako guitar with a flag top, I suppose Dean is just offering a bass to the same market.

He's an intelligent loudmouth with buffoon tendencies. He'll probably run for President someday.

Dean makes Metal people happy and caters for them, horses for courses. Someone has to do it.

I love the sheer genius of the Dean design department. Just take some established designs, split them at the waist and combine in different combinations. 1/2 V +1/2 Explorer - check, 1/2 Les Paul +1/2 explorer - check, 1/2 SG +1/2 V - check. They even did a reverse explorer with Strat-esque horns on it. Combine that with awesome giant pointy headstocks and you've got heavy metal perfection! 8)
