I've had a 1985 Gibson Futura in my "Land of Misfit Toys" for aprox 25 years. It was supposedly designed to be a headless guitar but marketing didn't like it so they added a headstock, creating a confusing model that didn't sell.

Recently, Gibson sold a headless prototype for BIG Money & it sold quickly......... Who would have thought? Trogly, Dave's favorite blogger even did a video on it.........

Trogly has plans to one day open a guitar museum, and Gibson oddities are something of a special obsession for him.

Hopefully he'll go to a taxidermist and arrange to have himself stuffed and put on display.

He's a vlogger, but only in conjunction with his guitar flipping business.

That makes sense. I can see that as a headless. As a side note, I think headless guitars are more popular now than they were in the 80s!

I've had my Hohner Jack from new and she's been one of the most reliable instruments I've ever owned...

Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

I've played a Corvus a couple of months ago, it was in dire need of a setup but didn't sound too bad.

The Corvus was a guitar shape that was available to pick for the video game "Guitar Hero". For as popular as the game was & the millions of people that were introduced to this guitar from the game, I'm surprised it is still relatively unknown.........

Hmmm, maybe I could put the large cutaway behind the bridge to good use in a twelve string bass?  8)

I'm kinda drawn to it!! Now it is a design that makes sense, only took 40 years!

A true headless four string would be cool also.............

It would look nice as a headless 4-string.
