"Missing link" near mint Apr. 1962 transitional 4000.

1st generation features but with the revised body contours. Unusual shape pickguard. Unbelievable.

They are rare but I don't need that extra fret very often, and don't like the bridge that far from the body end revealing the unbound part, so other than rarity I don't get the attraction.

A beautiful  '72 Jetglo. Sellers say functioning truss rods and no neck crack, but was refretted.
