Not exactly rare, but it's nice to see a Dingwall with someone famous.  BTW - the vocals here are truly awful, but Lee sounds good.

Lee was one of Dingwall's first endorsers, way back before the factory burned down.

Never seen that Cobham/McLaughlin/Hellborg clip before. Maybe not their most innovative piece of work, nice posting anyway.
Not the best song to break a string in, though :)

You know who else was a great drummer. Karen Carpenter! Doing it live while singing and being recorded for a BBC broadcast is no joke. The bloke playing the bass is using a Gretsch 6072 I believe. Don't see those too often.

Contrary to what James Bond says, a good Gibson should be stirred, not shaken.

Wyman on upright?
THE ROLLING STONES - LIVE 1967 - _Ruby Tuesday_ - YouTube

Like many TV appearances back in the day, the band is most likely miming.  In the recently released Rolling Stones Gear book by Andy Babiuk, there is a great photo from the recording session for Ruby Tuesday where Wyman is fretting the notes on the upright, with Keef doing the bowing - there are chalk marks on the neck for reference.  Wyman is quoted and confirms that's how the recording was done.
Cheers

Nice Dano, sounds great - and what the heck is that guitarist playing?  It's a Gibson, but a really big hollowbody.  Nice sound, but I don't recall having sen one before.

And Billy needs a new hat.

No, no, no. The hat is part of Billy's tribute to Freddy Fender (both originally from S. Texas).  I've seen the Dano from a few feet away, it looks like a 90s reissue and definitely has flats. It really projects. Unfortunately he's had to slow down due to rheumatoid arthritis, he doesn't tour near as much as he used to.

FWIW, his group is the Forbidden Pigs. The Porkestra is what he called it when he added a few extra members for a performance.

The guitar looks like one version of an ES-125, not sure exactly which one.

He seemed to start off with the Dano and switch to upright during the show. In a more recent video I saw of him he looked pretty frail and didn't even play the bass.

The several times I've seen him, he did about half a dozen numbers on the upright and then switched to the Dano. But it's been about 5-6 years since I've seen him.

His site has pics of a 2012 gig at Gruene Hall in New Braunfels (same place I saw him last), he's thinner, all right, but playing both the upright and Dano.
