That Peavey will do what you want.
When I got back into bass a few years ago I didn't want to spend a bunch of money. I bought an old Peavey TNT 160 for $150. It did the job for about a year and a half. Then I sold it for... $150. I recently ran into the young guy that I sold it to and he in still gigging the hell out of it.
Yeah, a Peavey is a good choice.
