A 5 string fretless/8 string fretted combo would be cool for me. But first, I need to join a Ric 480 (top) with a 4003S.  ;D

I'll take Julian Cope's bird, TYVM. Bass on bottom as well!

"(Rare) Offers" and no asking price means he wants a lot more than he can get. Robins have always had terrible resale. Although Robin is now out of business, my guess is that they will not become collectibles; if anything, I expect the prices to go down.

I don't know how easy it would be to come up with a reasonable price for an item like this. Can't be that many floating around to compare it to, or much of a demand for them. I have a feeling that his idea of a good offer is much higher than mine would be.

With all due repect, but Fender shapes and doubleneck don't go together at all in my eyes. The SG look is fine as is the Ric look but that Robin Fender rip-off look is awful.

Robin never had the rep of other mostly Fender-inspired boutique brands. Fine quality guitars, yet not enough people knew of them and valued them. If it's a brand you have to explain to people, you aren't going to get much for it. As opposed to Sadowsky, for example, who isn't widely known but is well enough known among serious bassists.
