so I figured I'd post up a picture or 2 of my '79 Music Man Stingray, she's been played a little bit...but I love her just the same

For some reason I think the black Pre EB's sound best.  I think they used Poplar for the body wood.

I love these in black.  I wish I had black, but I have an early EB in green see through. It looks like Christmas ribbon candy, which is fun, but I wish it was black.

Too bad someone kept forgetting to pull the cig!
Model One and Schallers?  Ish.

I call that a "roasted" maple, but now EBMM is selling that as an option on their basses

I have a black one with a white PG  and a really mojo'ed Sabre in natural.

I really like what is behind your bass even more.. :)

Cool! I like the old ones too. I used to have a thing for that StingRay sound, but never ended up buying one. A little too Fender-ish for my taste feel-wise.  8)
