Longhorn Bass Case?
« on: January 09, 2009, 03:45:28 PM »
I noticed this on eBay last week and thought about making it mine till it jumped out of my 'initial price range'.

I had planned on using it for a more sturdy case for my Longhorn Bass. It seems to be close to the dimensions that I was given for the re-issue tweed-top cases, and would certainly fit it a lot more snug. Though the price may end up being the downside as I'm trying to keep from paying more for a case than I did the bass itself.  :)
Anyone gone this route before me? Or if not, I thought I might share it in the event anyone else was looking for a case.

Went for $71. I don't think I'd pay more than that for an 80s Hondo Longhorn. Still, it's a nice case in its own right and you just don't come across 'em often.

I had one of those Hondo Longhorn basses in the 80s, it was pretty nice, the case was kinda flimsy. The case in the auction is for a guitar.
