Ohhhhhhhhhhhh.....Scarlet!
To be honest (this is not lie), my first 8 or 9 basses were all red. As they began to pile up around the house, I realized my wife couldn't tell one from another! So, whenever I wanted a new bass, I just bought a red one!
Finally, after a couple years she looked at one I was playing and said, "I don't remember seeing that one before." Man I was busted. Then she told me she knew what was up at around bass number 5 or so. I guess I didn't expect her to count them for cryin' out loud! In the end, she's been wonderful about my obsession with basses. A real gem for sure.
