yes, I was admiring this one online last night. Anyone here played one? Any good?

Dave W

It's rare because it's not sold outside Japan, but I don't see how it justifies that kind of price. If it were an ESP, maybe, I can't see paying that much for one of their economy lines.

Barklessdog

I agree, but they are pricey. I thought Uwe has one ?

Dave W

To me, that would be like paying $900 for a Squier. You can find those in amazing condition too, and they're still worth doodly squat.

Natürlich nicht.  As a three point man, the loveless bridge of these is a big turn off for me. I have four Gibson RDs, that is enough to last a lifetime.

Unless a maho one crops up!!!

I'd like to see Edwards make an RD copy with all the Moog stuff in there. Take that, fake wannabes!
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?
Clocks.

Yeah, their electronics design engineer is even called Doctol Moogwo Wannabe!!!

But last I heard, attempts to replicate the original went awry ...

Dave W

Poor Nick. From a promising career to that. To be fair, it wasn't bad for Japanese monster movie.

That's Johnny Cash singing, right?

Yes, that's Johnny Cash, with Johnny Western backing him on guitar.  Johnny Western sang the theme song for Have Gun Will Travel....probably the best written western in history, and my single favorite of the 50's westerns.

A new Edwards one is 1360$ in Japan so the price is perhaps at least fair at 700$. The ESP has a (to me) ridiculous price tag of 4100$ new.

Wow. And I thought $1900 for the ESP Phoenix II (which is sold here) was ridiculous.
