Anybody know how much they cost and where you can buy them?  Can't find any info on the net.  Thanks!

You can get them direct from Hanson:

http://www.hansonpickups.com/

Though right they don't seem to be available?  I know that others have bought them.

They're still in the "coming soon" stage. With the owners of Hanson taking over Lakland and all that entails, I'm not surprised things are coming along slowly. Selling OEM pickups is probably low priority.

Before Hanson acquired them I looked into it & was quote a really high price, like $180 per pickup, if I can remember correctly.

PeterB (Boer) has been buying whole batches of them. Single coil Chi-Sonics, humbucker Chi-Sonics, J-Sonics. All from Hanson. He is on holiday now, but when he return he can most certainly answer your questions Carlo.

That's right. I've bougth several batches direktly from (Bo) Hanson. I started with the first batch early this year, when I ordered 9 sets. Enough to got a far better price. Bo agreed to this price for all my future orders, so if you need some.... ;)

I just love ChiSonics, they look great, have a beautiful old-skool growly midrange, big lows and just enought highs. My Jazz with ChiSonics has turned out to be my most expressive bass. Played soft, it can be very subtile, and when you dig in firmly, it becomes a monster.  8)
