BaCH update
« on: December 10, 2010, 02:43:45 PM »
Here's a few updates on BaCH for y'all:

They are planning to use CTS pots on all their (bass)guitars. I think this woud be a big improvement on the electronic circuitry of their instruments.

They are developing a new bridge for the Semi-Acoustic bass. I've seen pics and sketches of the first prototype and it looks promising.
The bridge is really the last hurdle to take for their long scale EB2 copy (and shortscale too)

They are working on a new "custom color" palette to choose from. Think silver flake finishes etc for real cool pimped basses  8)

The first run of the Fenderbirds is sold out. The new series wil (hopefully) be made to my exact specs. Fingers crossed.

Great.
Other than old US Peaveys, a BaCH is the only bass on my wish list.
I just can't decide which one I'm going to shoot for...

Since I sold my Turser B401 last year, maybe I'll look at a BPB-60.
I also like the BTH-1.

BaCH is going to release a new series of the BaCHbirds one of these days.
One of the colors will be the Sonic Blue that we saw in the second series.
They will feature a new improved pickguard.

BacH and I have also been working on a two point bridge for the EB2-type bass.
We are going make two versions of this bridge. One of them will be a drop in replacement for the Gibson two point bridge (aka evertilt). The BaCH bridge is going to be adjustable for string spacing, individual saddle height and of course intonation.

I'd like to see a series II style BaCH TH-1 in Inverness Green! I'd have to have one of those!
