Blackeyed Revolver should get her as their new singer ...

Also, conclusive and final proof for what I've always said: Axel sings like an - ill-tempered  -woman. Fergie's tone is much nicer as is her butt.

Quite a stunning Barracuda rendition too.

Sounds like Homer Simpson & his pal Barney were standin' next to the cameraman. hahaa

I agree she's a lot more fun than Axl Rose all right...& Ann Wilson too!!
Yeah~ She oughta change bands & be the new Velvet singer.

Fergie still can't hold a candle to Ann Wilson, though.  She took the safe route and dropped a few parts where Ann jumped up to those high registers.  At least this time, Fergie did the right song at the right place.  Last video I saw of her doing "Barracuda" was on a morning TV show, when she did the full stage treatment in front of a bunch of kids and housewives.

Ugh. Poor attempt at impersonating Ann Wilson's voice.

I watched those and I think Fergie's performance was AWFUL in both clips.  She certainly should not try to cop Ann Wilson.  I'm going to clean my ears with bleach now.

Ann Wilson is in a class of her own though I doubt that today she would sing Barracuda like she did thirty years ago. Time has that effect on us, you know. That said, I like her solo album even without vocal histrionics.

And while I readily admit that Fergie emulates to the point of pastiche both Axel and Ann in those two songs, I thinks she - scarcely an experienced hard rock vocalist - does a swell job considering these are totally undoctored, cell phone quality recordings. Certainly less doctored than Heart's live albums have been, meine Herren!  :P

Transplant Ann Wilson's great voice in Fergie's fine bump and we have a winner!

I'd agree that Fergie is not exactly a rock singer.  I like her for what she does, just not this.  And Ann may not sing like she did 30 years ago, but the Duets show she did with Wynonna Judd shows that she's still a powerhouse singer.  She had the better voice of the two.

Ann's voice is terrific...I just saw Heart again in February....BUT she was HUGE.
She was SO beautiful in the 70s & 80s, could've had any man she wanted.
Now she's a damn sad sight to see.

Cool how Slash likes to jump onstage with so many bands.
I saw him join Lenny Kravitz for some encores on the Sunset Strip.
