With his own band. Sounds serious.
Mötley Crüe singer Vince Neil breaks ribs in fall off stage (https://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/wireStory/mtley-cre-singer-vince-neil-breaks-ribs-fall-80621816)

Hopefully no punctured lung ... What a freak accident, he was distracted for a second and fell off. On the arena stages with Mötley, he would have never even gotten into that situation. Poor Vince has a habit of attracting bad luck, get well.

It looked like an unusually hard fall. Not something you would wish on your worst enemy.

And it's not like this has happened the first time on rock stages. A few mats on the floor around the stage might go a long away.
On a related note: heavy metal is a dangerous business ...

Having your aorta burst as a 41 year old with no previous heart condition while you are, ironically, playing Painkiller on stage is what I consider a close call. And having a lung and heart center five minutes from the gig location to then operate on you for 10 hours is kinda handy. :-X

One of my law firm partners had the same thing happening to him while sitting in his office, if his personal assistant hadn't been so alert and quick-witted and immediately realized what was happening (he didn't) he would have died there on the spot.

Being close to excellent medical care simply cannot be overrated. When I hear people talk about wanting to live far away like on an island or something, I always think of this kind of thing.

Or back in the Medieval or Romantic Era, when everything was sooooo great. Except when you needed to go to a hospital real quick.
