Title: New tool - Starrett dial protractor
Post by: Lightyear on October 02, 2010, 07:43:59 PM

I just read about this this evening while reading Fine Woodwarking at Borders - it's a plastic version of Starrett's aluminum dial protractor.  It's not a as useful as the Kreg tool Dave mentioned a while back but for $20 I think it will be nice addition to my toy box. ;)

Just had the wife order it for me.

Nice tool!  For years I've been using an adjustable drafting triangle that seems to have disappeared.  That would be a perfect replacement.

Mine showed up this week and I'm impressed.  Laser etched and well made - even though it's plastic.  The nice thing is that you can get your actual physical measured angle and the tool will give you your exact angle to cut
