You and I have a shared affection for that amusing old movie.

One of my favorite shots was Oracle huddling behind a rock in the big sand storm/battle scene watching the participants charge back and forth - only his eyes moving.

I have a strange memory for movie quotes.  The ones that I like will stay with me for decades. All the guys I worked with in classroom support knew that almost any conversation would lead to me injecting some obscure movie quote.
"A computer lets you make more mistakes faster than any other invention with the possible exceptions of handguns and tequila."

A Rivoli re-issue - U.S. built of course - would likely have me reaching for my wallet...

A Rivoli reissue would sell if it's reasonably priced for a US made semihollow.

By the way;
The new "Gibson inspired" headstocks of the Epiphone guitars don't look like they got the open book shape correct. Something looks different about them.
The edges don't curl back up enough. Or is it just me?

I think Gibson's are flatter and a bit different yes. Maybe they still wanted a small difference?

I don't think it's supposed to be the same, here's how they describe it:

(Quote) 'Epiphone's new Inspired By Gibson Collections will drop the sharp angles of Epiphone's recent headstocks and soften their curves into the "open-book" style, while still being differentiated from Gibson's own design.'

I'm all for these new headstocks as long as they improve sound.  :popcorn:

Now, can we move on to something even more relevant?  :mrgreen:

I think the same thing.  It looks like the "V" is too tight and the radii on top too narrow.

 :mrgreen: Which, indisputably, does affect sound!
