Ok, ok, but you're spoiled!

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

When I think Greek, dancing is not the stereotype that comes to mind...

Me? Stereotypes about Greece? That country has left us with some remarkable music:

Ok, there were a few misses too:

But the cult classics will be eternally remembered:

We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...
From techno seeds we first planted ... evolved a mind of its own ...

True, but I had mentioned Demis already! You doubt he stayed true to his prog roots?

Well, I guess the Greeks are all about probing in areas often unexplored...   ;)

Uwe, HOW DARE YOU to not mention this unique masterpiece of modern greek music?

I can potentially understand why you were "Exiled"...  ;D

That Aphroditie's Child recording - 666 - try playing "infinity" (is it?) loud, with headphones... truly wierd ("I was I was I am to come...")

Vangelis fan, so in my collection from many years back...

Demis is on the Bladerunner soundtrack, too... just works... the "market" scene...

(sad geek alert...!)

I wandered through (read "drunken haze") a fair amout of Greece in the 80's, mainland and islands - nearly ended up living on Rodos in '82 - ran out of money and went home...  YAMAS...! ;D my biggest regret was not being able to see the original "dolphin" fresco (Kriti - Knossos)as that section of the museum was closed for works during the entire time I was there...  one day, I'll go back...

I have an Island mentality, so I loved the laid-back lifestyle...  ;)
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
