Is that an active or passive LP?
Why did Salvador Dali cross the road?

this is the lp "special" looks 92-93..  way over priced if you ask me, these get blown out pretty cheap on ebay.

The early lp std premium plus is the cats meow!
flower pot inlay, more standard gibson headstock, 3 point bridge..

most of the earlier ones had bart pups and tct 2 band preamp.

Is that an active or passive LP?

Active with Barts, passive with Tbird soapbars

The seller is correct, this is a Deluxe, not a Special. Enlarge the second pic, you can see that the top is maple, and you can see a line where it's glued to the mahogany back, there may be a thin veneer in between. Obviously not a premium plus top, and it wouldn't fetch that kind of price in the US even as a pre-production example. Still a nice bass if you're a fan of the Bart-equipped Deluxe.
