Well..it is broken...er..uh..Well...I decided to go and once again Hire Gene Liberty to make a scarf joint headstock and fill in an reroute the body. I can paint it myself at work. I am thinking Inverness Green but finding Dupont Acrylic Lacquer is going to be tough. I have a gallon of white and axcess to a quart of Pelham blue, possibly a quart of Heather Poly. White is out. I'm doing another bird white. "We can rebuild him...We have the technology". I love The Six Million Dollar Man!!

I might be tempted to overlay the entire top surface of the body with a 1/32 veneer so as the keep the repair from telegraphing through the paint/laquer - just my .02 worth.

This is a great idea I've used as well.
