That is so typical! Even internally we are still in a firm state of denial about this! Our last office opening was only recently in Istanbul, Australia has been something that has been off and on with us for years. As a sixties child from a GM household, I'm forever one of those people who thinks "big is beautiful" so there hasn't been an office opening that I have not voted in favor of as a partner here. A new office gives me more of a kick than a rise in profits, I believe that money should be invested in useful things (I know, calling the opening of another lawyer office "useful" is a stretch).
Anyway, I sure hope this turns out to be right in the end and, yes, I've never been to Australia, that land of valiant men in fearless shirts and wigs and plentyful species of adorable reptiles, so any excuse would be welcome!
