i joined a new band 2 weeks ago.playing geeetard.i've never played guitar in a band before but i figured why not?i gave it shot 'cause i liked their songs and their name.the band is called SEXUAL SUICIDE. 3 practices and we just played at the Knitting Factory yesterday 09/06/08 opening for the Freeze (a classic early 80's punk band) so a big show,3 practices and not my main instrument.really trial by fire.glad to say i pulled it off.we sounded good and i only messed up once.i had to learn 12 new songs in 2 weeks!, 10 originals and 2 covers (Lights Out by the Angry Samoans & Noise Boys by Toxic Reasons if anybody cares)it was a blast.thats me in the blue shirt.they played one show as a 3 piece before i joined.
my other band that still doesn't have a name has been in the practice room for a year and still no progress...
