« on: December 05, 2010, 09:41:28 AM »
my kramer p went silent. so instead of trouble shooting the cheapie electronics in it i found this instead at "guitarelectronics.com."

it's called the ' p bass guitar electronics super kit'. it includes 2, 250k cts pots, 2 different values sprague orange drop caps and a switchcraft output jack. the price is 21.95 plus shipping. i thought it was a good deal and discovered these guys after looking at stew mac.

Not sure about how good a deal this is, you can get a similar kit (CTS, Switchcraft) from Bass Parts Resource for $14.99. Another $1 will get you cloth wire.

I wired my SX P with the Bass parts resource kit. Components speak for themselves. Price with postage was still cheaper than the reatail price here. And more convenient.
