The Explorer is his Hamer he bequeathed to a Brit rock memorabilia museum some time ago. It has sixties TB pups. The TB is in the initial link.

Remember quite well when I heard Argus the first times. It turned up from nowhere, somebody put it on the record player late some night. I was hooked, and immediately. That bass sound! (Was it a Rickenbacker, or was it a Tbird? A plane?) Them twin guitars! The lyrics!

You might have avoided the confusion if you had opened the video in a regular YouTube window and then posted the link properly.  :P :P :P

Actually, the first song I ever heard from them was "Jailbait".  It was their first album that got me hooked.  "Blind Eye", "Lady Whiskey" and especially the bass solo that leads off "Handy" was all I needed to hear.

I was lucky enough to see them in '72 ! Ballad of the Beacon the version off Live Dates is my favorite MT playing in terms of tone and style.
