Uwe's next pursuit
« on: May 19, 2016, 02:49:33 PM »
I wasn't aware this existed. Only 17 (or maybe 21) made. A must-have for the serious collector, don't you agree?  :vader:

I disagree!!!

I've seen one of those before, way back on a blurry pic, but had forgotten about their existence.

Let's find more ways to spend Uwe's money! (and live vicariously thru him)  ;D

It's a black and white photo, so we can't see the finish.

I'd say this was an essential item for any "serious" kollector... how could they do without one, if they were kompletist in nature... I'd have thought it would have played on the conscience, not to have one...

As regards Epis, I'm not that bad a completist!

I hate your snide remarks about my ailment.  8)

... and squirrels, sheds, Heilcats (sic), Panzers or Ritchie Blackmore have not been mentioned once... er...?

Anyway, it's not an ailment, it's a kondition prevalent in select areas of the kontinent...

Wow, a short scale bass with 6 guitar tuners, how cool is that? :P This forum will be your ultimate doom, Uwe, and you know it.

Do not help him Dave; he must resist this alone... or cave in to cheers from the rest of us.  This is  just the way it must be.  The trials of Uwe.

Enter Uwe...

To Kollect, or not to Kollect; that is the question...
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous Outposters
Or to take arms against a sea of abusive humour, and by chuckling, enjoy them.
To try, to Kollect no more; and by a Kollection  to say we end the heartache, and the thousand varitions of timbers and fins that flesh is tempted by...
'Tis a consummation, devoutly to be wish'd. To lie, asleep; to sleep, perchance to dream of a 2016 Gibson bass release: ay, there's the rub! For in that sleep of death what dreams of bass's may come, when we have shuffled off this mortal coil, must give us pause. There's the respect that makes calamity of so long life, for who would bear the whips and scorns of Gibson's Custom Shop fore declining my double-neck build...

OK, I was thinking more Greek mythology than that early adopter of emo, but sure, good one.
