I have to install a different video embedding mod, will do that later tonight. Aside from that, please let me know if anything else doesn't seem to working like it used to, and I'll look into it. Thanks!

I miss the old "Unread Posts" and "New Replies to Your Posts" links.

Most mod packages from v.1 don't work on v.2, and those that do have to be reinstalled. Before I got anti-spam mods installed, I got 7 spambot registrations from Poland. Hopefully the new mods will be as effective as the old ones at keeping the pests out.
I've also installed Simple Audio Video Embedder which is described as "An auto embed media modification for SMF that takes links for popular video websites and adds a player directly into the post or bbc area of your website." But so far I don't see it working. I'm not surprised that past posts aren't showing up as embedded, my concern is that I don't see any button for a player in the posting area. There must be a way to make this happen, the mod installed without a hitch. I'll have to investigate.

All right! Found another YT embedding mod, this one is YT only but it works and past links seem to have reappeared.

This is the default theme. There are some other pre-programmed themes available, including one that looks like the old 1.x default. The problem is that if the author of an alternate theme doesn't keep it compatible with SMF updates, then it can stop working properly. So I want to keep the default. But I'll see if I can give users the option of changing the theme.
