not to get off topic, i just wanted to say that i have read the list of Harley Davidson outsourcing, the outsourcing of Buick body/parts from China and i have no surprises about Gibby following suit. look at the geographic area of where Epiphones have been built for years now along with Fender and Mexico.

not to mention cottage industries cropping out varitone plates, pickup covers, bridge tailpieces, pickups etc along with finished products like FenderBirds and such. more power to the craftsmen who do this.
