Hmm...I don't know, I've been buying basses since 1976, and only been married since 2003, and I'd say, during the last 8 years, I've easily bought more basses than I did between 1976 and 2002. And that's with 2 kids(as of a week ago).

Cute & Congrats!!

My baby is 27 & married.........

I bought most of my guitars & basses while I had two kids at home & my wife was only working part time. Now my wife is full time, no kids, college or weddings to pay for anymore & it seems like it's tougher to buy guitars now for some reason. I must have bought & traded about 40 Gibsons between 1990 & 2005. Also vintage Gibson amps. Now days it's mostly just a few vintage parts & literature. Times is tough!
