That ought to be their goal. It would be nice and it could be done, if they want to.
That's the key, "If they want to." The NR was OK but disappointing and it could have been much better (truer to its heritage) with just a few small details (headstock, bridge, tuners, chrome pups, body thickness, volute). Did I miss anything?
After reading everyone's posts and thinking about it, I do agree I wouldn't want the current SG neck pup in the new EB2. So, if the only other choice is taking a mud bath, I would be in. I hope this one is more true to the past than the NR.
