I guess I'm a simple man. I love what I love...

Why did the Kiss poster have to go?

Love both B.C. Rich'es!

PS: Both pics prove it, the Fender P shape is non-descript!  8)

Nice...
I suppose If I posted 4 of mine circa '79, it would be the same 4 now, but unrecognisable... :o

Found this one taken in 1980 (the PC and SG I've had since 78, the Ibanez 12 string was fairly new, the RD arrived new in 79) and the later one taken in 2020... all still present in the later photo...

I’m an accidental bass player , I was working late in the darkroom late one night and a friend phoned and asked me to audition for a local established touring band . I was the only one that showed up to the audition and got the job . Immediately traded a black Nikon F2 with an 85/1.8 for a 72 Pbass .
Late 70’s , for years I just had the single Pbass . .
Now I’ve got a pile .

Traded a trusty old Nikon for a Pbass and bought a Marshall head and some reflex cab . It was big . That was replaced by an Ampeg fridge . Went through a bunch of stuff but settled on a GK RB400 with a fifteen when the RB amps first came out . That head was indestructible ! Was always playing the local bars but got tired of the driving and decided to just keep it in town . Was always gigging , in various bands . Getting lots of sub work . You could almost make a living just doing music .
Managed to combine working in commercial photographic studios with playing nights . Wound up with my own studio . My work was all reproduction , I never sold prints , or did weddings . But I shot a ton of grocery flyers , and got a lot of annual reports . Retired and still play the local bars . Now I like Bergantino . I just play in town , but I’ve got to put it in the car , set it up , and drive it home so I like Class D power and nice cabs .
Because of the virus we’re in a temporary lockdown again , but we’ll eventually be back making spectacles of ourselves  . Funny , I never thought I’d be still playing in bars at this age .
