My BaCH Non Reverse is all put together and sounding great. Thank you Scott Dasson for all the superb parts, tail piece, tug bar, and especially the pickgard! The neck on this is absolutely fabulous, it plays very much like my old Gibson, BaCH and Rob really made these basses into something quite special, I'm very happy and fortunate to own one again.

Once again; congrats!
In hindsight it's really incredible how cheap they were. If my memory serves me right the first batch were only €160. (plus shipping of course and maybe a bank fee)
-
It's really a better Non Reverse than either of Gibson's efforts! I'd forgotten how big it feels when you stand up and play, perfect for a tall girl!
-
Did BaCH do any left-handed models that I should be on the lookout for?
-
Yes, they did make a limited series of lefties too!

Of the NRs? Uh oh. Off to set up a Reverb search. Unfortunately we tend to hang on to good basses because the cool ones don't come up that often.
-
Keep your eyes peeled.
They do pop up now and then

Thanks, Rob. I'll keep an eye out!

Don't tell me you don't own a light-blue dress, Mark.
I'm very disappointed. You have an image to live up to.

Actually I don't own a light blue dress - wardrobe goals! Would blue sequins work?

Can't judge before seein' that.

So much better!
Constructive critique is so limiting and emotionally draining, but in moments like these it's all worth it. Czech bass (procured via Dutch mercantile hands) and Yank broad chick, all is well!

Never call chicks 'broads!'

I didn't. Never ever.

I'm a pushy, tall girl - ask my Hubby!

I always wonder: Is he really, really ok with that model train thing of yours? I mean deep down?
Obviously, some superhuman tolerance there. Hang on to him, gal!

LOL you should see all the model airplanes, Star Trek, Space 1999 etc. stuff he has! I'm a rank amateur in comparison!
He has 6 guitars and two amps, I'm teaching him Barre chords :o

That figures, erect index and stiff stuff, de rigueur for many situations. 8)

Have you grown a hermit's beard now, Rob?
No, I get it, it's your countryman Arjan Pronk, do you know him?
-
No we only just met on Facebook.

How you lie. You're all related in the land of the dikes & dams.

I'm impressed by the 5-digit house number. That has to be a loooong street!

True, quite true. I like to arrive in style, even if it means I got there in a Subaru!

Wish I could turn the clock back 10 years or so, that would help a lot. As the band goes back out to play I'm finding it's a bit more work than it used be and I'm slower to recover as well.

Yep, you can still do the gig but the recovery period is longer.
