« on: June 06, 2008, 01:35:13 PM »
1) my Callie came home from the hospital where she was in a coma for awhile after totaling her brothers SUV. her six broken ribs have slowed her down a bit though.

 and

2) i got my NOS mud bucker in the mail

thanks fellow bassists, she is doing well. as she is in england i was two weeks without any knowledge of her progress. needless to say the last two weeks have been he**. she also totaled her half brothers BMW (no big loss = he is a pri*k). my health will not let me travel abroad. customs would probably think i am a big time drug dealer, lol.

she told me the short coma was a result of her banging her empty head. she is more hard headed than empty as she has a degree in biology and was planning to go to med school. she had an opportunity to model a bit and now she makes more money than a dr. i know she is hurting as we were laughing yesterday and she was crying it hurt so bad. the modeling pays well as her, her momma and her half brother now own 5 hair salons. she is actually a hair dresser by profession. i will tell you where you can see her but please realize that she is not promiscuous as one might think in these poses. they won't even let her smile. but she gets paid extremely well and she is a very nice young woman.

http://annsummers.com (NWS unless you buy the wife something!) and she is the blonde in the big picture on the home site. i don't mind sharing her as i told her many times, i can't keep her all to myself because when she works posing, doing runway work or catalog work she belongs to the world. guys check it out and buy something for the misses, lol. Callie has to do about 4 months modeling work in LA later but that has been postponed for awhile.

the bucker will be put to good use. got a letter from my publishing attorney also, as my account has been inactive for a long time he informed me i have a amount of money in trust he wants to refund. (sounds like bass building cash!!!) so yesterday i talked with TimThelen and am in progress of sending him some pictures of what i want. yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! i still need strings, an input jack, fret wire and strap locks. thats it, so its getting close to time to send it off.

regardless, she is one of the joys of my life. thank you all again.

Car accidents suck.  Glad she's on the path to recovery!

Look forward to seeing your bass project, too!

i know oh so well how lucky i am. pretty proud of her i am. lets see, started modeling after she got some inheritance from her family, took two salons and paid one off, took her modeling money and started three more, graduated pre-med and thinking about going back to med school, worth a few million and never has to work again if she don't want to all before she is 24. she has the brains to go with the looks.

here is a poem i wrote for her:

Evensong: Callie 6

When you walk, you walk for the world to see
It is then you can never belong to me
Our words were important as they let us find each other
Now I see the happiness that drives your smile
I wondered at your stance

The magnificent simplicity is growing before you
You can turn awe and confusion into understanding, acceptance and love
It does not matter I do not have your answers now baby girl
You fly so high the worry of your crashing leaves
You have learned not to be scared of the landing

We danced in other lifetimes and our children light the stars
They chose us before we were to become
Your embrace is a cloud full of warm summer rain renewing spirits
Ask the questions but be aware of the answers
We are more in other eternities

My vesper no moment or second is ever unimportant
Our lives are linear
Time has not linearity within the infinity
Your path is not for others
They will not have the choices you have nor you theirs

Only you will have this path through what is known as time and space
One cannot fathom heaven into measurement of words
This is a learning life time
The creation of unknown’s will become what was ever to be and this is done over and over again
Take this seed and hold it within yourself

With it you will know me in the morrows
