Title: Picked up an Eden Nemesis NC 115 this morning
Post by: Freuds_Cat on April 05, 2009, 10:54:11 PM

I picked up the 250w version of the Eden Nemesis NC 115 combo this morning for Au$700 (US$500). They retail here for about Au$1200 (US$860)

Had to replace the Behringer BX1200 I was using as my practice/teaching amp after my son plugged a guitar lead into the Input and put the other end in the Output on the back and turned it on, then up.    ???    It didnt sound that good before that anyway  :-\

Yeah, at least its loud enough that I can plug the 15" JBL in our practice room into it and have a quite reasonable volume and sound at practice as well as having a nice sounding combo for personal practice and teaching. Its quite warm and rich sounding for a valve-less amp.

Means I dont have to use the Peavey Mark IV head that is in the practice room WOO HOO!  ;D

Hate those things........ :P

Nice amp :) They have a real nice 2 10" combo that I like a lot too. Eden makes some nice stuff :)

The guy was trying to sell me the 4 x 10" cab that he had with it for the same price as the combo. (Aus$700).

I'm not a fan of 4 x 10 cabs and I really only need a smallish practice / teaching amp and I couldn't see the point in spending the same amount of cash again on just a cab.
