Another one gone. I think he was the last of the old New Orleans guys.

Was he a Fats Domino protegé?
The way he moves behind the piano is exactly the same.

Respect for the Frogman.  He was one of the old guard.

The way he moves behind the piano is exactly the same.

He was one of the old New Orleans R&B pianists, and I think that was just the style if they were singing. But Fats was 9 years older and could have been an influence.
