I just picked up this Acoustic 220/406 rig to run along side my Hiwatts :) I drive to Penn. tomorrow to pick it up. I have a Acoustic 370 head to drive it I will most likely sell off the 220 that comes with this. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v102/godofthunder59/Acousticrig.jpg)

your guitar player needs more amps from a symmetrical point of view.

I owned the very same setup 220/406 back in the early 80's for a few years. Bought it new and I remember that it came with a lifetime unconditional manufacturers warranty. Good thing I never needed to use the warranty.
I still have the product brochure that came with it.
It was a good rig but some what limited.
Enjoy it.

He has tons of stuff but is lazy he should at least bring a full stack.
-
I hope you have a big enough tarp to hide all that stuff under... :o

I have the missuses full blessing :)

i have one of those cabs and a 220 head. not a bad little sounding rig... IIRC cabs have port(s).

Hey Scott,
I have the opportunity to buy a 220 head. Will it be loud enough to use with the band(s) i'm in?
I fear 250 SS watts are not sufficient, what do you think?
-
Rob, It's difficult for me to gauge how loud you are on stage. What are you using now? I would think the 220 could keep up. It's a nice amp I'd grab it if for nothing else a back up.
-
I always felt the acoustic was a loud 220 watts versus the sunn SS amps which always seemed to break up too early for me. Very clean sounding head. IIRC heavy to pick up...

Thanx guys.
Looks like it's worth a shot.
You don't see these very often in The Netherlands.
I just sent the seller an email. Fingers crossed.
