I had a little talk about shipping costs etc. with dadagoboi... it looks like it would be the best to buy one here in the EU. But many thanks for the offers!

My favourite B-bird modification ever is the chromium one:

So, so nice.
One day I'll own one just like this. :)

That one is beautiful.
I have a reject BaCHbird here that I never sent to a customer because there's a small blemish in the finish. I'm going to have it refinned in Pelham Blue. And I'm going to put a correct pickguard with bird logo on it too. But I'm not going all the way with chrome covers and fingerrest etc.

Now, Rob, are we getting closer to the bone; the pickup covers! I've told you guys all about it, time and time again, about my hopeless search for neck pup covers. And so I read your lines here, that you're not sure whether you're gonna put the pup covers on or not!
Now, in my world that's more than an indication of pup covers existence somewhere, and furthermore, it seems as it's possible to get them somewhere?
Oh, where, oh where can them covers be? Did The Lord take them away from me? Do I have to go to heaven, do I have to be good, to get my covers and a-leave this world???

Haha, I'm sure they do exist.
But I'm not going to bother with it.  ;)

Assuming they existed, how many would you want, Stjofon?

Yes- I've been working with a local metal shop to come up with a new handrest for my Epi Blue Bird. The chrome Ebay cover I currently have is sized for a Gibson which is narrower and it doesn't quite fit right on my Epi bird. I still need to do some tweaking to the design, but thought I would share the first attempt:

Hey, Carlo and you other guys: Three (3) neck pup covers is what I would be satisfied with. Really satisfied, that is!

I'm not involved but I do know of some efforts being made.  So maybe 2012 will see an end to your quest.
