Is that what that was?  I just thought it was Jazz  ;) ;D

I believe the rule is you have to do it twice for it to be jazz.  ;)

Embassy is here to stay.  BaCHBird moves on to a new home tomorrow.

Well, it may be the wrong guy.  I was thinking maybe Matt Jones, who played Badger.  Yeah, some animal starting with a "B"...

Or possibly Chad Ridgeway, who does the Scottrade commercials.

Very nice, Bill!!!

I have a friend (and former band mate plus litigation attorney like me in another firm) who sings with these guys, they don't do the visuals that much (though Thomas has always had Jagger's facial contortions, just not the hair), they've become quite a draw by now in their region:

Talking of indie sounds, I'm currently recording with my little indie band and we are in the process of reconstructing a song by one Herr John D ...

which some of you will know, but not like this, we've changed a song that is made up of three major chords throughout into one mostly played with minor chords in parallel keys and it is only in the last two chorusses that we play it with the original major chords (C, F and G in this case). This is still work in progress ... what you're hearing is naked drums and bass (played on my EB-650) plus Kristin's guide vocals, there are no guitars yet and no final vocs, much less backing vocals or guitar solos yet. But there is a little harmonic bass melody at the start and end of the song ...  :-[, hey, I've never denied my love for Wishbone Ash!!!   Not to mention my little homage to the Brown-eyed Girl Bass line in the second bridge ...

You might need a username raintunes and a password plainingjet to listen to this ...

Uwe

By now the guide vocals are away (final vocals to be recorded later), but guitar has been added. Access as above.

Go to "Kundenlogin", type "raintunes" for project name, pick one of the four numbers appearing, and insert "raintunes" for user and "plainingjet" for pass word.

I got into Uwe's stuff.  I like "Jet Plane".  Nice tone and lines.  I like to do some of the same kinds of things.  What bass is that?

"Venus Found" sounds like a fun bass song.  Nicely done.
