I play them using just one bass, 4 or 12 string.

Pekka, when I watch that video I feel like it was produced for a movie - with the animation done and the music written to it. Reminds me of Heavy Metal! That's a pretty high bar to hit.

Yeah, what Pilgrim said.  Good stuff and great playing.

Thank you very much! Both very done separately 'though and were only combined about two weeks ago. I wasn't there but I believe the film was cut a bit to fit to the music and the music extended a bit.

But if the overall impression is that what you said I won't explain too much to spoil the image. :D

So, if anyone is interested in buying the cd just write me a private message. 20 dollars to US, includes the shipping.

Excellent jam. Production sounds great too. And the video....  :toast:

This is a cut down version of a longer track my prog/space/metal band came up with. I'm playing bass (Cort B74 with am Epi Thunderbird pickup in the neck) through a Hartke Bass Attack I modded for better midrange response. The sound is pretty dry as this is all recorded straight into the mixing desk. Drums are Roland V Drums. The guitarist also sings. We sometimes have an analogue synth player on board as well, but not here!

me thinks crimsony in spots which i like and a loose, jazzy improve feel that i like as well.

Well fellas, I've been working on this original band for over a year now. No, we're not one of those "we have to rehearse everything until it's PERFECT" bands. We're just all in our 40s and 50s, and it's hard to get everyone in the room together. Anyway... finally got a great mix of our first single "the Take". Have a listen! WARNING - electric violins, Taurus pedals, and shifting time signatures ahead!  8)

Well it ain't The Fixx, but dig.    :P

Tauruses are fun aren't they?  Me bud has one he used at the same time as guitar in an noise blues band we were in.

I'll have some new stuff here soon -  just got the masters back and they're waaaaaay too squished.
