Did you get to try it on a strap? Is the balance improved? (Sorry, I'm a Ric/Fender guy, I was spoiled with well-balanced basses, it's important for me).

I couldn't take it off the hanger as Gibson locks those.  :-\

But even the old small body LPs weren't neckheavy, those bodies weighed a ton and they balanced well.
